DOWNWARD DOG YOGA
Small in size, but big in heart. Downward dog is my favourite yoga studio in the city and home to amazing instructors. They have class levels ranging from beginning to intermediate as well as a well known teacher training program. They offer various types of workshops throughout the year, one of my favourite being a Couples Thai Massage held on Valentines Day.
I have been going to Elle fitness for years and I have seen it evolve into one of the most fun and effective women's gyms. The classes are not easy, but you push yourself just enough and leave feeling amazing. They have monthly challenges throughout the year, fun giveaways and events. I've tried just about every class they offer and have yet to be disappointing. For those looking for more of a one-on-one session, they offer personal training packages.
For a more low-impact but hard workout, barre3 is fantastic. I find the instructors very knowledgeable and caring and the space very welcoming and inclusive of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. be sure to check out their deals for new clients.
