Raw Hemp Brownies

My sister has always been my food inspiration. She introduced me to these awesome raw energizing brownies. I enjoy making them as snacks to hold me over between meals or even as dessert.

As raw, plant-based foods are incredibly nutrient dense, you’ll likely be satisfied much sooner. These are a much better option than the highly processed protein bars you can buy at the store. They are great for when you are craving something sweet and need a little boost of energy!

Raw Hemp Brownies
  • Servings: Aprox 20 squares
  • Preparation Time: 10 min
  • Refrigeration Time: 3 hours
  • Total Time: 3 hours 10 min

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups cashews
  • 2 cups pitted medjool dates
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts (or Hulled hemp seed)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients in food processor with exception of hemp hearts
  2. Once blended, mix the hemp hearts by hand
  3. Spread into 7" pan (or pan of your choice, however brownies will be thicker or thinner)
  4. Put in refrigerator for 3+ hours to set
  5. Cut into squares and serve or wrap and refrigerate

Keeps refrigerated for up to 1 week
